Well to make an immediate difference I think they are going to have to make a very substantial cut...more than each of the previous cuts.
Also I believe its only a matter of time before we see production halt from fields where the current oil price makes them unsustainable. I dont think this has really occurred yet as oil companies, like us oil investors, think the current price is just an aberration so keep fields going expecting a rise. Unlike us investors though, oil companies cant wait forever.
